This is a beautiful dark indigo panel with worn sashiko stitches from an early 20th century furoshiki. each end of the fabric has wonderful well worn stitches radiating out from the corners. The fabric is hand woven and well loved. The fabric is strong and could be used as a scarf, as a household textile or as part of a boro project. 50 x 12.5 inches. One edge of the selvedge is somewhat frayed from sewing. This is a really beautiful textile.
